Easy Fix for Sagging Couch Back Cushions

If your house is anything like mine, the couch always has a person or a dog on it. The result of all this "love" is sagging back cushions. Here is a quick and easy fix for non-furniture experts like me.

Materials
2 Firm/Extra Firm King Size Pillows
1 Package of Polyester Fiberfill

Walmart and Target usually have inexpensive pillows, plus if you aren't in any hurry, you can probably get them on sale like I did. I got the Poly-Fil at Joann's. Be sure to download their app and use a coupon. (Usually 40% off any regular priced item) If you shop at Michael's or Hobby Lobby, they have apps with coupons also.

1. Unzip the first cushion and remove the filling. I loaded mine straight into a trash bag.

2. Put the pillow into the cover. Push it to the bottom and into the corner.

3. Stuff the side "arm" of the pillow with poly-fil until you get your desired firmness.

4. Zip the cover almost all the way and start stuffing the area below the zipper until you get your desired firmness. Zip it up and it's ready to return to it's position on the couch.

5. Repeat steps 1-4 with the other cushion.

Ta-da! A cheap, quick, and easy way to revive your sagging couch back cushions!

Tip: If you are doing this on a full-size couch, you will need a few bags of Polyester Fiberfill.
